It is no exaggeration to say that the hotel and restaurant "Zum Alten Restaurant" in Vossenack is one of the first addresses of the Voreifel. Already the ambience of the rooms makes it obvious that this is a house with class.

The "Zum Alten Forsthaus" was recently completely renovated: The restaurant has got a friendly and shining light appearance, he hotel bar was created in light-coloured wood, a new indoor swimming-pool was built with a steam and Finnish sauna, relaxing room, sunbed and gym area, a new lift reaching all rooms of the house and we enlarged by further 12 guest rooms.  A highly modern conference wing hosting up to 100 people, with extra group rooms and a hall for break time was built, also perfectly suited for weddings and family celebrations.

Being best equipped, the hotel underwent a further sorrow examination by the HOGA GmbH combined with the Hotel and Restaurant Association and was awarded in being classified as a "4 Star First Class" Comfort Hotel.

Mr and Mrs Gübbels bought the house 32 years ago, invested a great amount and have managed to turn it into a gastronomic business which holds a good reputation, even within the neighboured countries. All 50 guest rooms hold up to high standards and make room for up to 100 beds. Those who would like to spend a holiday or just a weekend at the “Alten Forsthaus” will be best cared for.

To especially point out is the outstandingly good cuisine and the friendly service. Everything will be done here to please every guest. Not many menu cards are so extensive and varied like the one at the “Alten Forsthaus”. Our menu card holds standard meals as well as seasonal and monthly changing menus. We like to cook for our guests with enjoyment, substantial, healthy and on a high level.
