Meetings - our philosophy 1) Studying at the Alten Forsthaus Active studying needs a high degree of well being and motivation. The facilities and its surrounding provide the stage for initiated learning. The design of our rooms, healthy air, daylight, the playfulness of colours, is modelled by nature. The generosity and rhythm of nature provides strength and inspiration. The whole hotel influences in varied ways the well being of studying humans. The architecture and design of the 3 stars quality pleases the needs for intercultural comfort. The DeGefest provides orientation of quality criteria used by the Alten Forsthaus and sees this as minimum requirement for the cotemporary design of studying facilities.
2) The employees The Forsthaus employees know the needs of the customer very well. They support and encourage the process of studying and communication with a high sense of sensibility. Friendliness and helpfulness expresses the honest valuation of the guest. Our employees understand their job as a challenge of professional operating within the whole business. They deepen their competence and expertise at inner quality circles and with constant further education.
3) Seminar meals “A full stomach doesn’t like to study” ……. We are aware that seminar participants like to eat well. Our high standard demands for good, healthy meals – that’s why we serve light in-between snacks and not to heavy main meals. At lunch we offer a “quick lunch buffet” including soup, 3 different main meals, salads and dessert; in the evening a 3-course choice menu.
4) The trainer Trainers, presenters, speakers etc. are often not responsible for the choice of facilities. As the conference manager you can be sure of all our special attention and support. This way you will able to take care of your participants, while we take care of all the issues of organisation. We want trainers to feel well cared for. Flexibility, quick implementation and support characterizes our service for trainers. The trainer is welcomed and treated as a VIP; before, during and after the conference.
5) Leisure activities Leisure time is more than just free time between seminars. The seminar begins with the arrival of participants and ends with their departure. Especially the informal times, like breaks, lunch and dinner, as well as the long evenings are very important to the studying- and group dynamical progress. That is the reason for the Forsthaus to offer appropriate and the study progress supporting, leisure possibilities like for example the new indoor swimming-pool, saunas, sunbed, a new separate house bar, bowls, guided hikes, cooking in separate kitchen.
6) Clear agreements Customer orientated service begins with the preparation of a planned conference. Every event is talked through and planned by the minute and right down to the smallest detail, with precision and expertise.
7) Cancellation agreement Trust is the basis of our relationship. This is our understanding in dealing with altered reservations and cancellation of bookings. In principle we try to implement the wishes of our customers without costs or as cost effective as possible.
8) The complaint Forsthaus employees understand every complaint as a chance for further customer loyalty. The complaining customer wants to stay a customer, but combines his intervention with his request of correcting a mistake or to improve a product. The Forsthaus employee has the competence of making an immediate decision and can offer reparation measures.
